Why Water is so Important,

Second Part of the  Watering Sequence, why Water is so Important. Bonsai Trees

Importance of watering

Water is needed in bonsai plants for photosynthetic activity. And hydrogen, which is gotten from water (H2O), does so with the help of the energy from sunlight. It uses carbon dioxide (CO2) from the surrounding environment to produce sugar that serves as energy source for the bonsai tree plant to thrive and grow. Oxygen; a waste product of photosynthesis is then, released into the earth’s atmosphere. Now water is taken in via the roots of the bonsai tree and as this is absorbed, nutrients contained in the soil are carried with this water and distributed to various parts of the tree plant.
